Just 7 games are left, where did this season go? They always seem to fly by, but even more so this year. Why do I say Exhale? Because Wild Card Weekend is scary, 6 games can go very wrong and being .500 is just fine. We will be ahead in the end

Wild Card Review

As usual, we will look at what went wrong or what we missed in losses, always just happy with the wins!

Chargers -2.5 - If anyone would like to show us the bet slip that had Justin Herbert with over 3 interceptions, please reply. I know I always say turnovers kill and this was no exception in that respect, however what was more surprising, the Chargers were actually one of the better teams not turning over this season.

Commanders-Bucs - 50.5 over - If we gave out half points and you read last week’s issue, you will know we were right about that fact that the last team with the ball would win that game, which was part of the reason for the over. Too bad that is worth nothing! The over might have come through if the first quarter had not been so quiet in terms of scoring.

Vikings -2.5 - Sorry Viking fans, you now know that Sam Darnold is the QB the Jets, Panthers, and 49ers moved on from at different moments.

The Game That Started it all (for us!)

Every season when this moment of the Division Round arrives, arguably the best weekend of football, we reflect on the greatest game that round has every produced. When your humble capper was the ripe old age of 10, the Chargers (San Diego back then) went to Miami and they and the Dolphins produced the greatest NFL game I have ever seen. The game produced everything, the Chargers raced to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter, only to see the Dolphins come back to tie the game, with a hook and lateral play!
